| What I'm going to tell you is something that has changed the meaning and the direction of my life.Since I was 8 years old I heard speaking about Jesus trough my mother and my aunt.I grew up to 15 believing in Jesus and going to the services on Sundays.But futher on I started going to church less frequently.In the mean time my attention grew up toward rock bands,so I decided to learn how to play an electric guitar.In no time I established a band too and started to play in the pubs.In this enviroment you konw perfectly that it's very easy to meet persons who smoke drugs and drink alcool.But something in my heart was keeping me far from those things.After some years I got fed up going around night-clubs so I opened an electronic servicing laboratory (specialized in tube amps)in my garage and I dedicated myself almost completely to this big passion for elctronics.All electronic science was an attraction for me,especially the old one(such as old valve radios,old valve televisions and old valve guitar amplifiers of wich I also started a collection).Electronics was so misterious and always so new,it was something with wich I could realize everything.Electronics for me was men's pride,men's goal.I was 18 when I started university,at the Electronic Engeneering faculty.While the time passed I started to feel a lack in my heart,and all my passion was losing it's great meaning in my life.For some reasons I began to go to curch on Sundays and Thursdays.When the pastor was preaching about Jesus,our life,and the joy that only He can give my heart was getting filled,it was exploding.So everything,beyond Jesus love,lost its meaning.I realized that all electronic apparatus was something not eternal,the material things could not give that joy.I understood that Jesus is the everlasting stone,the everlasting base of life.So I accepted Him in my life and my point of view changed.I can tell you that today I'm an electronic engeneer and I realize that the physics laws are so perfect that only God could make them.Today I thank God for the big success that he gives me,and I thank Him for the prestigious task that I have in church:playing music for His Glory! What about electronics?Well I can tell you that in curch there is a lot of electronic staff to deal with! |
